As part of its ongoing recognition and support of veterans, Hunt Military Communities volunteered this past weekend with the non-profit organization Wreaths Across America to support their wreath-laying efforts at multiple military cemeteries across the nation.

Hunt Military Communities (HMC), the military housing division of Hunt Companies Inc., announced today its support for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program this holiday season. A number of donation drop off stations have been designated at 19 Hunt Military Communities across the nation including: Barksdale (LA), Bolling (DC), Buckley (CO) Langley (VA), Hanscom (MA), Shaw (SC), Keesler (MS), Ohana Marines and Navy (HI), Crane (IN), Patrick (FL), Cottonwood (ID), Little Rock (AR), Kirtland (NM), Quail Hollow and Hunter’s Cove (TX), Nellis (NV), Robins (GA), and Scott (IL).

Hunt Military Communities wants to honor veteran’s memories and is asking for veteran’s stories and imagery (photos) that will be incorporated into an artistic coffee table book with proceeds going to the Hunt Heroes Foundation. Hunt will be highlighting a different veteran throughout the month of November for their 30 Days for 30Families program, which coincides with Month of the Military Family.

Hunt Military Communities, the military housing division of Hunt Companies Inc., announced today there are more than 180 job openings across more than 30 Hunt Military Communities. Of those, 30 are management positions and over 100 of them are maintenance-related jobs. Job titles include Leasing Director, Executive Assistant, Maintenance Director, Maintenance Technician and Porter, as well as newly added positions including 15 new Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialists, and two Portfolio Support Directors. Roles are based on need per location.

Hunt Military Communities’ (HMC) employees joined forces to help support their local communities by participating in Hunt’s annual Helping Hands Day. In all, more than 35 organizations, located throughout the United States, were supported by hundreds of HMC employees who closed down their offices for the day to volunteer their time and energy in support of local organizations.

Hunt Military Communities, the military housing division of Hunt Companies Inc., is proud to announce the launch of its newly created, Hunt HEART Program. This new initiative is designed to support residents and military members who live in a Hunt Military Community, with a focus on deployed spouses, military members who just returned from deployment, new residents, and those experiencing a family crisis. The HEART Program, which stands for Hunt Embraces: Activities, Resources & Training, provides services and educational training in the areas of navigating military life, how to access base resources, and activities for children and families.

Rodriguez, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Commanding Officer, and Colonel Leslie Maher, 375th Air Mobility Wing and Installation Commander, coined 13 HMC employees for going above and beyond the call of duty at Bolling Family Housing and Scott Family Housing. Being coined by military leadership is one of the greatest accolades a person can receive.
